About Jorge

As a child, I already knew sports would be part of my life. I started with soccer, like almost everyone, and ended up in basketball. Always amateur, but with the same passion as anyone who truly competes.

There was a break of a few years, and when I returned to sports with padel and gym, I found something I didn’t expect: my body no longer recovered like before. Not in a bad way, but in the sense that it demanded more attention. More sleep, better nutrition, and above all, real recovery after each workout.

That’s when I started getting interested in everything related to sports recovery, and I realized it’s a world most amateur athletes don’t have access to; not because it’s complicated, but because no one has explained it well.

I am a marketing and advertising technician, and I have loved writing for as long as I can remember. At Wellbeinn, I do the two things I enjoy most: working on something I know from the user’s perspective and explaining it in a way that helps those who are where I was a few years ago.

Jorge writes much of the Wellbeinn blog. Some examples: what creatine is for, how much protein to take per day, or what magnesium is for.
