One month with pressotherapy trousers at home: what happens to tired legs (and cellulite)
Arriving home at eight in the evening with heavy legs isn’t unusual—it’s common. We tested for 30 days the treatment that until now was only available in clinics.

If you work on your feet, spend hours sitting, or simply notice that your ankles have disappeared under the swelling by the end of the day, this text is for you. Pressotherapy has been used for years in beauty and physiotherapy clinics at €40–60 per session. What has changed is that it now fits in your wardrobe.
What exactly is pressotherapy?
It is a sequential compression massage. Trousers with several air chambers inflate and deflate in sections, from the feet to the waist, pushing retained fluid toward the lymph nodes. It uses the same principle as the manual lymphatic drainage performed by physiotherapists and estheticians, with the advantage that the pressure and sequence are always identical.
It isn’t a medical treatment and doesn’t replace one. What it does—and what users notice—is relieve the feeling of heavy legs, reduce ankle swelling, and, with consistent use, improve the appearance of the skin on the thighs and buttocks.

What users say about it
What you need to know before buying
- Look for several independent air chambers and adjustable pressure; with a single chamber, drainage is not very precise.
- It’s better if it also covers the buttocks and lower back, not just the leg: that’s where the most fluid accumulates.
- With a battery, you can wear it anywhere; with a cable, you depend on an outlet.
- If you have significant fluid retention, varicose veins, or are pregnant, consult your doctor beforehand.

How long does a session last, and how often should it be done?
Between 20 and 30 minutes. To notice changes, use it for 3–4 sessions per week during the first four weeks; afterward, as needed.
Does it help if I have lipoedema or significant fluid retention?
Many users with lipoedema use it as a complement to the drainage prescribed by their physiotherapist. In such cases, it is advisable to consult the professional treating you beforehand.
Will the size fit me?
The pants adjust to different sizes. If you have any doubts, the customer support team can help you check before buying.
What if I’m not convinced?
You have 30 days to try it at home. If it’s not for you, return it.
