Take a look at it yourself
Look through each lens
Red light gets through; blue and green don’t. That’s why the red lens is for nighttime and the softer amber lens is for daytime.

Why
You turn off the lightand your body doesn’t follow.
You’ve been on your phone, laptop, or TV for hours. You go to bed, but your body is still in evening mode. It’s not the brightness: it’s the color of the light.
01
Your internal clock reads light
Some retinal cells, which are especially sensitive to blue light, tell your internal clock whether it is day or night.
02
Screens and LEDs emit right there
At night, they continue sending daytime signals, and melatonin, the hormone that prepares you for sleep, arrives later.
03
The lens cuts out that signal
Filters out the part of the spectrum that contributes most to that signal and lets red light through. You can still see and carry on as usual.

Wellbeinn Ecosystem
Do you sleep well?Find out.
Wellbeinn Band measures your sleep hour by hour. In the app, Your Internal Clock tells you your chronotype, when to go to bed and wake up, and how far off schedule you are. With Wellbeinn Band, you can try the glasses for a few weeks and see what changes.
It depends on the time. Daylight is for daytime use in front of screens and LED lights. For nighttime, both red pairs have the same lens: Nocturne has an acetate frame you can wear to dinner or out and about; BlackOut is wraparound, with foam, and also blocks light coming in from the sides.
Can I drive with them?
With the red lenses, no: not during the day or at night, or for anything that requires you to distinguish colors or light signals. We also don’t recommend driving at night with Daylight: any tinted lens reduces the amount of light reaching your eyes.
When do I put them on?
The red ones, one or two hours before bed and until you turn off the light. You don't have to turn anything off or change rooms. Daylight, during the day in front of screens.
Does everything look red?
Yes, with the red ones. The lens lets red through and blocks the rest, so the image is tinted and colors don’t look the way they normally do. That’s exactly what it’s supposed to do. With Daylight, you’ll notice a warm tone that’s much softer.
Do they really work?
It is well established that nighttime light delays melatonin production. There is promising but limited research suggesting that filtering it may help with sleep: in one study, people with insomnia who wore amber glasses for two hours before bed slept better than those wearing glasses without a filter (Shechter et al., 2018). They are not a treatment: if you consistently sleep poorly, consult a healthcare professional.
Can I wear them over my prescription glasses?
No. They are standard adult-sized frames, and the BlackOut has foam all the way around. If you wear prescription glasses, ask your optician about a red or amber filter for your own lenses.

“Resting better is key to higher performance. Throughout my career, I’ve performed much better when I got enough rest. I currently use Red Horizon glasses before bed, and I notice that I get sleepy much earlier and rest better.”
